Turks Tarantula

 

1.  Bring thread to rear of hook.



2.  Tie in Golden Pheasant for tail.



3.  Twist fur from Hares mask onto thread.



4.  Wrap until desired body shape is formed.



5.  Tie in calftail and two strands of Krystal Flash.  Tie off thread and switch to Kevlar.



6.  Begin spinning deer hair for collar.



7.  Tie in rubber legs (2 per side).



8.  Continue spinning deer hair until the front of the hook is reached.  Be sure to pack it tightly.  Tie off Kevlar.



9.  Using scissors begin forming the head.  Be careful not to cut the rubber legs.
