McHugh Minnow

McHugh Lake...Brownies in clear water. A definite challenge. Anyone who has fished McHugh knows that it does not give up trout easily. The Browns herd the minnows and make slashing attacks into the schools......and then they're gone. Or are they? I have found that there are several shoreline points on the lake that the browns will attack and reform over and over again. They also are particular to size and shape of the fly. The minnows in McHugh are not very large and I have always had more luck going small.
